A story about the usual and overused "dark fantasy story where church and god are evil"

In the end it's revealed that the one behind all of this was a man who suspiciously and coincidentally looks like a Jewish stereotype. And so believers and non believers agree to combine their powers to battle against a greater evil.

What do you guys think? Is it too obvious of a plot twist?
