BrickPlanet is gonna shut down

The engine the bp client runs off is Unity and since Unity is now charging money per download for the client, Isaac is now looking for an alternative engine. The thing is that this will just be another excuse for Isaac to shut this website down. We all know Isaac is lazy and wont bother remaking the client in another engine if he couldn't even bother making any changes to the client that's existed since 2018.

Not per download but per installation. Other than that, it's pretty clear that many indie developers won't survive by creating their projects in Unity. Sadly or not, the Brickplanet client won't stay for too long, but I'm not so sure about if the site will shut down either.
