Hows the best way to tell someone you need therapy?

Do you tell them straight up? Do you google some things you may need/want from a therapist and do research and present it?

Like telling a parent or smth "yeah hi I need therapy cause nothing ain't helping bro"

Theres different kinds, but talk therapy is most common I think. Its for people to try to help you with your problems and overcome things
