to sell usernames, click to go to your backpack, then click on the new "Usernames" section, then click on one of your names and list it for sale. you can also now buy usernames from other players in the "Usernames" section of the shop

I tried it and it doesn't work
Only works if you have changed a username before and you still can't sell your current username

I think buying and selling usernames is a great feature if the game had alot of users. There is less then 30k users rn so there are still tons of og names available to get.

I think it will make the market and economy more active which will circulate the currency more.
It's a great idea that will hopefully help a bit after it's been a few weeks or months that it's been implemented.

I agree, I think this feature will see more use as BP grows and more rare usernames are taken -- like Jacks said, there's still a lot of available rare usernames

you can get into a high rank in the namesnipe guild with some of these! Perhaps users selling their rare usernames will make people want to buy more? New users will want to have a high rank of a unique username, so buying and selling is a great idea!

For some people who really don't care about a "rare username" I want my name to be unique I do like the idea of it but I doubt a lot of people will use it

I wanted to share some concerns I have regarding the recent change on Brick Planet, particularly the introduction of selling usernames. While I understand that platforms evolve, it's essential to address some historical issues that have raised red flags for users like myself.
Brick Planet has had a rocky past, including instances of sudden shutdowns that left users without access to their accounts and, in some cases, resulted in financial losses. These incidents have left a lasting impact on the community, leading to increased skepticism and caution.
The decision to sell usernames has triggered my concerns, especially given Brick Planet's history. Transparency and clear communication have been lacking in the past, and this has contributed to a sense of mistrust among users. Without a thorough explanation of the motivations behind these changes, it's challenging for users to fully embrace them.
The platform's track record raises questions about the potential risks associated with financial transactions. The community deserves reassurance that the platform has learned from past mistakes and has robust measures in place to safeguard user investments.
I believe that, as users, we should be cautious about any changes that could be perceived as cash grabs, especially when there's a history of financial uncertainties. I hope Brick Planet takes the concerns of the community seriously and addresses them openly.
It's crucial for the platform to prioritize clear communication, user trust, and fairness. I would appreciate hearing the perspectives of other community members on these recent developments.

I agree. Having a unique name sets you apart and with an easily memorable name, you can capitalize off of it by creating a brand off it. Plus, names give a sense of personality. if you want a name that represents you but someone else has it, you can buy it now!
