When you go to a website, you agree to give them your IP and other device information. This information, in BrickPlanet's case, is used to display the website properly (supposedly, and most likely) according to your devices screen space and to log devices signing into your account incase your account gets hacked you can end that (or all) session(s) forcefully via the settings page.

He's annoying. Acting like he knows everything cause he can left click on the sources tab in his browser's developer console. Good point though.
