Welcome to the latest edition of BP News! We’ve got a lot of drama today surrounding the guilds and more transparency updates between the staff and users. Before we begin, we’d like to state that all news will now be posted from this account. Get ready to read as we’re covering BP News Volume #11.

Rare Schedule

Rare items now have a set schedule for every week. As announced by “Rat” on the forums, rare/tradeable items will be released at similar times every day of the week so users know when to expect a new thing. Currently, the latest rare is released at 3:00 EST, so expect a time around there for the following rare to release.

New Item

After a very long time, the emoji bucket hat finally returned! For those of you who are in the discord, you may not notice these emojis that are on the hat. This is because all of these emoticons were for an emoji contest back in a past iteration of BrickPlanet. While these emojis are no longer on the discord, they are remembered through this hat.

Profit, Sell, Trade Drama

We recently covered a segment on the controversy surrounding the Profit, Sell, Trade group and another guild with the same title that popped up. Since then, we’ve heard stories from both sides of the event and what each person claims to have experienced. Mercilessbandit, the owner of the PST group which got deleted and also co-owned with an original PST executive, claims that the user “Plotagon” had copied his guild information and sent users to attack his staff on their discord server. Ultimately, the group was deleted by moderators after the situation was reported. However, Plotagon on the other hand stated that he was being attacked by the owners of the rival PST and getting threats from them because he wanted to purge their name. After this fight, Plotagon rebranded his group to the “Silk Road” to stop any continued violence. This dilemma hit a climax after the original owner of PST, “crew”, decided to reclaim ownership of the original group, leaving one of the PST groups to be deleted and the other one to rebrand.
