it goes without saying roblox is THE sandbox site. Roblox gives you all the power. You can make whatever you want (as long as its within ToS) like games, clothing, groups, and event hats if you get in UGC.

Brick Planet on the other hand, you can only do limited things. For example, as of right now, you can pretty much just post on the forum and make groups. You can make clothes but let's be honest, nobody is making clothing brands like there is on Roblox, and I can't see people buying loads of clothing because at the end of the day there's no point in regularly changing avatar.

With the news that they are taking away the feature of making your own games, that just killed the whole vibe for me and probably a lot of other people. For the longest, I've made games on BrickPlanet for as long as I've played. I originally joined somewhere in early-mid 2018. Now that I can't make my own games, I don't see a purpose in actually staying here long term. When I heard BP was returning, one of the first things I did was plan games. Now I can't do that for whatever reasoning.

Brick planet. Here are my reasons.

1) Smaller community with means you get to know most of the people well because you see eachother a lot.

2) You can make clothing without having to be on a program which means more creativity

3) active CEO that cares about the community and interacts with them quite a bit

4) good moderation and staff that also interact with the community quite a bit

5) There are forums unlike Roblox. Need I say more about the forums?

I am aware of the fact you can awake clothing and not be on UGC but I'm pretty sure if you want to make shirts (not Tshirts) it costs Robux.

Also, I am aware that Roblox had forums at one time. It was actually the youtuber "Quackity" that raided the forums and got it taken down.

Quackity wasn't the reason it was taken down.

Sure, he was a factor, but he wasn't THE reason the forums were taken down. Like I said, the main driving factor in roblox taking down the forums were because of the rising users and bots. ROBLOX couldn't moderate every post a scam bot made, just look at old groups from 2017-2019.

Roblox, Issac has a history of shutting down BrickPlanet and also (you know if you know) his community multiple times before reopening it again and again.

BrickPlanet merely has more a reopen and shutdown cycle whilst Roblox never did.
