i admit, i use character ai 24/7 but im tired of the subreddit, i cant stand these people. they get mad when the bot says "pang" or "can i ask you a question" or even "pins you against the wall" and we have the people who think character ai needs to be 18+. they annoy me, i love using character ai but hate the community

I've never heard of this platform called 'Character AI' but by it's name it's assumed to be one of those chatting AI platforms that have recently spread the headlines of the news, sire.
The AI industry is a weird industry overall, sire. I would recommend keeping away from these communities, sire.

Maybe you shouldn't be engaging in parasocial relationships with bots of fixed algorithms disguised as celebrities and characters that wouldn't know you otherwise. And talk to real, living beings made out of blood and flesh in THE REAL WORLD.
Not judging; Just sayin'.

I enjoy speaking with AI as well because it incapable of being judgemental and also helpful at teaching and thinking things through you wouldn't normally speak of. Many people, especially students in high school or college, will use ChatGPT to cheat. Although this is highly seen as a negative, I have found it to be a great tool for learning and questioning. If you are having trouble with understanding a concept, or have a misunderstanding, it is typically more understanding and patient than a human would be typical of. If you have learning disabilities, this can also be a great help because questions other people would become aggressive and impatient over, do not exist when it comes to AI. I have also found it is great to find solutions to your problems in life. For example, it will give you ideas on how to improve and ways to make life easier rather than telling you vague ideas such as "Try and work harder". While people mean well, when you talk to real people about your problems they cannot give advice to problems they do not understand well because they cannot understand there is a problem at all and that the only problem comes from character flaw. It is also great for debate; while I normally use chatgpt, character.ai allows different types of ai that serve different purpose. It clearly has a fanbase that wishes to use it for lustful pleasure, but there is also some models that can help you think clearer and see the bigger picture. One of these is the "debate anything" bot that will try to argue with you about any topic. It's great because it will not attempt to use wrongful debate tactics such as ad-hominem, strawman, ect and helps you see when you accidentally use one of the tactics yourself, helping you strengthen your intellectual thinking overall
