Is this true? I heard this as a rumor a few hours ago. Would love to hear some thoughts on this besides InsDel's post on the issue

The reason that code exists is very simple:
It's a way for advertisers to bypass cookies (as they are commonly blocked)
This information Isaac is collecting is just for personalized ads, you all here have probably never cared about personalized ads so this is no different.

I care about personalized ads which is why I don't use any website which sends data to ppl to personalize my ads
