Giving player custom tool?

How would I give a player a custom tool in this client? The old way of cloning a tool to the player's position doesn't seem to work in this client.

This game does it: https://www.brickplanet.com/games/11238/small-town-big-updates
So I know it can be done.

Nevermind, was just an oversight on my part. Same method works.
